4 days of conformation shows, obedience trials, and rally trials!
EVENTS INCLUDE:
- Judging of various dog breeds in Conformation.
- Obedience trials, which test a dog’s understanding of commands.
- Rally trials will challenge dogs to test their ability to follow commands and maneuver hurdles.
- Check out the youngest of dog show handlers with Junior Showmanship.
- Owner-handlers will compete in a special series called the National Owner-Handled Series.
- Pop by the 4 & under 6 months puppy competition.
- Pay a visit to the New Exhibitor Briefing.
- Sunday Noon Hop into the ring at Meet the Breeds to meet your favorite breeds and talk with their handlers.
- Saturday Canine Good Citizen Testing NYS Police Building
- Saturday FIT Dog Group Walk NYS Police Building

The shows take place during the second weekend in October at the Event Center on the Hamburg, NY Fairgrounds.
It is a combination of efforts of the KC of Buffalo and the KC of Niagara Falls.
About 1000 dogs are expected to compete each day at the Nickel City Cluster. Dogs from throughout the United States and Canada representing nearly all of the 162 recognized breeds compete for American Kennel Club championship points and rankings. Judges evaluate the dogs on how they conform to the standard for their breed, including appearance, balance, coat, condition, movement, structure and attitude.
In addition to conformation shows, obedience and rally trials are held in the Grange Building. Hours each day are from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Day parking is free and ample.

The Kennel Club of Buffalo is offering CGC, CGCA and Novice Trick Dog Testing during the Nickel City Cluster Shows October 12 and 13, 2024.

$15 per test or $40 for all three

On the Sundays of our show we have a Come “Meet the Breeds.” This is a great opportunity for a want-to-be dog owner to meet the various breeds and talk to the owners about their breeds.
